作者簡介
C. S. 路易斯(Clive Staples Lewis)
1898年11月29日出生於北愛爾蘭，他是學者、文學評論家，更是影響力深遠的創作大師。C.S.路易斯幼年時就培養了對文學的熱切愛好，他不僅閱讀豐富，更修習法文、拉丁文，這些都成為他日後創作的養分。
C.S.路易斯開始創作兒童文學時，大家都不贊成他這麼做。C.S.路易斯先前的著作都是內容嚴肅的書，他的朋友們認為他寫童書會有損自己的名聲。幸好C.S.路易斯堅持他的夢想，完成《納尼亞傳奇》系列故事，這套書至今銷量已超過一億本，成為最受歡迎、最經典的兒童讀物。
羅伯．薩布達(Robert Clarke Sabuda)
薩布達和立體書的第一次接觸，是小時候在一家牙醫診所。可以翻抓拉轉的奇妙立體書，讓小羅伯忘了拔牙的恐懼。從那時起，他一直懷抱著要創作一本自己的立體書的夢想。在普拉特藝術學院唸書時，他到Dial出版社童書部打工，負責拆信分信的工作，因此常常看到許多童書大師像Barbara Cooney和Thomas Locker的手稿，也因此立下成為童書作者的志向。畢業後，他先從事一些設計工作，然後一直尋求繪製圖畫書插畫的機會。最後，終於成為童書作者，而且進一步嘗試作立體書。現在他自己開了一家工作室，繼續發想各種新書的想法，儘情在工作室裡玩創意。
